This month has been crazy, with final projects, grading papers, studying for finals, really... getting through another semester... I have been up late and very busy but lovin' every minute (alright... not EVERY minute... but most of them.)It feels so good to finally be done with my hardest semester! Almost so excited that I can't wait for class to start tomorrow for Spring semester. :)

So what, besides school, has been going on here for the LeBarons? Quite a lot has happened since my last post... some good, some not so good, but we are very happy and blessed in our situation right now!

Bryce's Grandpa passed away (as might be evident in my earlier posts). It was a beautiful graveside service. He was a war veteran so the American Legion came to honor him. They played taps, and shot a 21 gun salute. The flag draped over the casket was folded and given to our dear Grandma LeBaron. It was quite a blow to the family, but everyone is hangin' in there. And spirits are high in anticipation to be reunited with him again.

On a happier note, we were able to celebrate my 21st birthday in Kanab with my Grandma Alice. (Who shares my birthday). Yes, I am officially an adult now! *gasp!* and it was so fun to spend some good time with Grandma. We also got to drive through the beautiful Zion's National Park. God really has a wonderfully artistic eye... and its so evident in a backdrop like that...

Bryce and I also reached our 6 months of being married this month! Can you believe its been that long?! I can't... I still have moments that s that I feel as though I might wake up from this perfect dream. (I know, mushy again, but I'm so in love!)

This is us on Valentine's Day... look at that crazy couple! :)

Spring has sprung and its fun to spend some time in the sun. Bryce and I have been busy in our little yard, trying to kill those darn dandy-lions .... and work the soil in our flower bed, and around our house. We don't have a ton of room in the yard, but so far, we have planted a few plants in the front. One of my favorites: the Gerber daisy plants bring a happy splash of color to my life. :) Look how good they look! Yay!

Look! Our tree has blooms on it now! It looks so Spring-ey! I am so very happy to have a tree... :)

Overall we are super happy! Life is busy, but we're having fun and enjoying being married. So, now you know what's been happening. Hopefully, it won't be so long between posts! Until next time! Love you all!

Green thumb?

There is a joke in my family that we don't grow vegetables in our vegetable garden, we grow trailers... For any who have visited our garden you might be inclined to agree. As a result of our fun-loving personalities, we have just never found the time or means to care for a garden... Last summer I had my first taste of a garden... not that I was able to enjoy the fruits of my labors, but I did enjoy the experience. This year I have decided that I want to utilize the fact that I actually have a little yard to work on. I have a little round flower bed and some space along my house. My Square Foot Garden is a blog that has some really great insights, but I am novice enough I have no idea where to begin...

So the question is, what do I plant? I really want some pretty flowers... but have no idea how to do so... I also thought about a few herb plants or something... but honestly have no clue... anyone got any suggestions for me?
